Please note that for a public information request to be valid, it must be submitted in writing.

You may download, print, and fill out the FOIL request by hand. You may also download, use the Fill & Sign feature in Adobe Acrobat to fill out the form, then print. Please be sure to sign the bottom of the first page. A valid NYS Driver’s License or other government-issued photo ID is required. 

Please submit the request in person at the Village Clerk's Office, by mail, or email it to clerk@villageofleroy.org

The Clerk-Treasurer or Deputy Clerk-Treasurer will review your request, and contact you within five business days of receipt of the request to discuss availability and cost.

The cost for documents produced as a result of the request is $.25 per printed page or $0 for electronic records. Encrypted files are provided via Barracuda with instructions.
