Genesee County Housing Report

The Genesee County Dept. of Planning announced that the full Final Genesee County Housing Needs Assessment and Market Analysis Report is now available to view and download from their website. On the website, you will also see a link to a video of the final report presentation, the presentation slides and a StoryMap of the project.
Garbage Pick Up Delayed

Due to the Labor Day holiday, Village garbage pick up will be on Thursday, September 5.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Wednesday's regular garbage pickup was NOT completed. They will continue tomorrow (Thurs) and finish the route. We're sorry for any inconvenience this causes residents.
Summer Sewer Credit
6/5/2024
The Board of Trustees voted to allow a credit of 1000 gallons usage on every sewer unit. This will help with usage costs to residents for pools, garden watering, vehicle washing, etc. which doesn't go into the sewer system. The credit will be included in the August sewer bill.

Genesee County Needs Public Input About Housing

Genesee County is looking for public input from county residents about their housing experience through an anonymous, confidential Housing Survey https://www.co.genesee.ny.us/departments/planning/Housing_Needs_Assessment.php Genesee County wants to better understand the existing and future housing market and the needs of residents and is updating its Housing Needs Assessment and Market Analysis. The survey collects info about residents’ current housing situations and future plans. The more responses received, the more accurate the representation of the housing needs will be. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey and feel free to share the link with friends and relatives.
First Night Fireworks

Come join us ring in the New Year with "First Night Fireworks" on December 31st from 8:30 PM to 10:00 PM. The event is sponsored by the LeRoy Business Council and will be held at the Creekbank off Wolcott St.
