Mayor’s corner by Greg “Porp” Rogers:
To say we have had a brutal winter so far is an understatement. Our DPW has been working many hours of overtime to try and keep up. In the event you feel your street has been missed, please call the village hall at 768-2527, and we will do our best to get there. We want to give good service to our citizens so please remember, our people can only go so fast. I don’t do Facebook, so if you want to get my attention that is not the way.
On Sunday February 1st, there will be a community meeting sponsored by the newly formed Empowering Parents Committee beginning at 2:00 at the Memorial Auditorium at Trigon Park. The purpose is to give our community the knowledge of the resources available to help with raising our children. Please attend.
The village board plans to officially adopt the 2026 comprehensive plan at the meeting on Feb.18th, at 7:00 pm at the Village Hall.
