Mayor’s Corner by Greg “Porp” Rogers:
We may have had some confusion on the clean up day. Thanks to Arna Tygart for bringing it to my attention and fixing it. A reminder, this is not supposed to be instead of putting your own weekly garbage out for regular garbage pickup day, but an event for the community to come out and help clean up some of the winter leftovers on the Village streets. Thank you to Danielle Borrelli and Michele Westfall Owens for organizing this.
PLEASE do not take this as passing the buck!!!! However, the Village offices and Board are being bombarded by calls and emails about potential code violating properties. The Towns Code Enforcement takes care of this for both the Town and the Village inside the Town. If you would like to report something you would like to have investigated, please call the Town Hall at 768-6910 ext.223 or 225, and ask for Andy or Mike. Hopefully this will expedite your solution.
